The Bug Has Left the Microwave
Well, spurred on by my post and the resulting public dismay over the bug stuck in our microwave door (except for our young friend who thought the bug was cool), Jason got out the tools and dismantled the microwave door yesterday. Out fell Mr. Trapped Bug - with about four of his hidden (but also dead) friends.
So now the microwave is bug-free. Well, let me rephrase that. The microwave parts that we can see are bug-free. Thanks, honey.
Long live a bug-free microwave.
That was a win-win situation; if he succeeded in getting the door apart and back together you got rid of the bug. If he failed to get it back together you got rid of the bug - and got a new microwave. :)
