A Sure Way to Boost Blog Traffic
Not long ago I was reading an edition of a magazine called "Artful Blogging". It's all about online journals and virtual galleries of different artists, and it really is just like a big jar of eye candy in magazine form. Among other things, it gives all kinds of helpful hints of how to get your blog going and ways to increase blog traffic. One of these ideas was to give things away on your blog.
Now, I have noticed on several my favorite blogs of "famous" people, they do give a lot of stuff away. They'll come up with something wonderful and tempting, and give it to one of the commenters. You know, like, "Today I'm going to give away this beautiful digital scrapbooking kit to Commenter #47. Then hundreds of readers scurry to leave their comments in order to win this wonderful prize.
